Championship

CODASUR-V 2014 Championship will have 6 different Rallies, following the calendar:

1st Round  – August 10th to16                         - Encarnacion - PY;
2nd Round - August  31 to September 06th      - Cordoba - AR;
3th Round – September 21 to 25                     - Erechim - BR;
4th Round – October 12 to 18                         - Curitiba  - BR
5th Round – November 2nd to  8th                  - Santa Cruz - BO
6th Round – November 23 to 29                      - Lavalleja - UY

All tracks surface are gravel, except one stage of Curitiba Rally that will be on tarmac!

The rallies will have the total distance between 70 km and 140 km, and each stage can be repeated twice, receiving the same name with different number, such as SS RBR 1 and SS RBR 2.

Attribution of Points

For each class R1 and R2 will be awarded for each rally, taking into account the general classification according the following scale:

Registration

The registration into CODASUR-V 2014 could be made by rallysimfans.hu site, inside Championship tab. There are two class available, R1 for driver that has more than 1000 km traveled inside Hungarian Plugin, and R2 for the others.

Shakedown

A shakedown stage may be organized with the purpose of being an opportunity for competitors to trial their cars. It is optional for the organizer to include the shakedown in the rally program.

The shakedown stage will not take part of the rally, but should have a similar surface of the Rally Special Stages. The Shakedown will take place three days before the start of each rally.

The shakedown stage will be only one special stage, repeated three times with different conditions of surface.

Stickers

If you want to share some pictures or videos of your car on the Internet running over CODASUR - V Stages, please, use the stickers that can be downloaded from our blog, and put them on the right places, as shown on the picture bellow!

We also encourage to share the championship and plugin information!

Punishments: Send replays

As simulation league, some kind of control must be do among the Championship. Each driver could be asked by the organizers to send a special stage replay to verify some anomalies. It is compulsory the replay sending when requested, and a penalty of 10 min will be give for the driver that not agree!

Punishments: Shortcuts

The driver must maintain the vehicle inside the track as long as he can. Will be considered shortcut when at least three wheels of the car stay out of the track. Especial cases such as accidents or involuntary spins out the track will be analysed by the marshals. If the shortcut is considered voluntary, 15 sec of time penalty will be added for each shortcut.

Punishments: Set-Ups

Is not allowed incorrect setups for the cars. Please verify if your setup is ok using RBR Setup Manager. Drivers using incorrect setups will be disqualified from the race.
