What does this plugin do at the start of a stage? Does it try to send information back to RSF.hu or download some data?
What ports does the plugin use to communicate with the server?

Trying everything I can here. I tried running with 1 GPU instead of SLI, but I can run any stages without this plugin so it must be either a plugin or network issue.

Any last suggestions?

If you don't have the car, then the plugin downloads the car from the server at the stage start. It is 4-6MB so it needs some time but it works, so the game is not froozen.

For sure try to shud down your firewall, but it shouldn't be a problem if you let rbr to reach internet.

About the plugin: Seb, can you tell us about future development plans? Surely its already nicely working plugin. I wonder if we could see the rally timing in live when you want to follow someone's progress? Also it would be nice to see all drivers who took part in the rally even if someone retired. And how about uploading replays?

I'm sure these questions are not new ones and you guys are probably working already with these functions. Big thanks already for making this plugin at this level...

The next development is to fix the car loading bug. The 1st car loading is okk, but if you change a car you have to start the stage 2 times because the physics is loaded false. This is the 1st priority now to fix that.

After that new stages or surfaces will come to make rallies more different.

The things you are missing is not about the plugin this informations belongs to the website. I would like these kind of statistics and sooner or later we can offer these. But now the 1st problem that we don't have enough capacity to keep the site up to date or develop enough fast.

There is another problem too:
Earlier the czech plugin site was often not available because the strong stress of the database. The stress was not cause by the drivers on stage, the stress was because the many statistics of the site and too many drivers browed the site for statistics and that caused problems to the plugin too. Now we offer only a minimal statistics to keep the site alive and not too heavy loaded.

The retired drivers and entered drivers list will be made soon.

Maybe one thing, but this is probably in the game, at the start of Hirvela's rallysprint the car fell down at the startline with the wheels on top of the roof...........bad luck, other rally I did with Volvo I finished 5th which is very good for me

Why do the physics change all the time? I created rallies, just to find out I keep standing on the starting grid all the time, no matter what I do. Then, download model in practice mode, attach proper setup, not the reaction by far as when making the setup.................

I just noticed there seems to be a bug in the plugin with the comments.
When I add a , or ' to the sentence, the sentence doesn't work.

Not the worst bug in RBR history, but maybe can look after it

huge problems!

i cant download new cars or physics in the plugin.
as soon as i try the computer just locks up and i have to use the reset button.
the plugin is installed on a fresh install of RBR and is the only plugin installed.
the firwall is letting the plugin through.
the plugin can update automatically as it should.
but i cant install any cars.

the problems started yesterday and i have never had the problem before.
any sugestions on what might be the problem?
i really need this fixed as soon as possible.
preferably tonight!

i got it working..
it just took the plugin 25 minutes to download the car!
and thats with a 10mbit download.

guess the server the cars are on suffers from a heavy trafic load.

how i can restart rally... i was driving last rbrchamp rally (argentina) when i choose next stage i only view black screen and my rbr no answer
this incident happen after stage 14. How i continue my rally ?

It's too late now, because there is a 6 minute timeout, but we have an automated solution to CTD-s between stages. If you finished a stage (the results were sent) and weren't able to start the next because of a CTD, sudden reset, or any such event, you can re-join the rally for 6 minutes in the "Continue Rally" menu option of the Online Rally menu. If you cannot find the rally in the continue rally section then the problem you encountered should be considered like if you had a technical problem in real life.
The behavior of the plugin may or may not change in this regard in the future.

So, if rallysimfans is out, no chance.....................?

This just happened tonight whilst in the middle of Jordan Rally. Connection lost at 23.45, although stageresult was sent (SS13), site out, back on at about 01.00 but couldn't find the rally anymore, obviously because of the 6 minute time-out.

Question: Which case my tires get grip back?
-In that SS where i choose "allow tyre chance"
-In that SS where i choose "allow setup change"

And why i ask this stupid question?
Because, i want make rally "Monte Carlo", where all drivers had to use same "int. gravel" tyres in tarmac, to get that slippery feeling.
Now i cant check, is everyone used same tyres...

Btw, it would be great if SS results shows what tyres drivers use, or just add it to CSV file. Then i can check there if someone does not use right tires.

If you choose eg. Intermediata Tyres and dont allow tyre change (no tick) than everyone should use that tyre...

If you dont let tyre change for example in SS2 than it will the same as in SS1.

If it was 20% "weared" (dont know the correct word ) in the end of SS1 you will start with 20% "weared" in the SS2...

Thats is not really great thing, because if i make rally like 10ss or more and dont allow tyre chance,
tyres will be really bad condition in the end.
Other way is that if i allow tyre change, someone can cheat by using different tyres..
Maybe i find some solution for this before our own 2009 serie starts

Eg. You SET GRAVEL DRY tyres for SS1 and dont allow tyre change...than everyone should go with GRAVEL DRY tyres....
Than in SS2 you set the tyre to KEEP PREVIOUS and you do not allow tyre change...it means that they will use the previous tyre used on the last stage...


AND IF YOU select GRAVEL DRY again (not keep previous) for SS3 and dont allow tyre change...than they can only go with NEW GRAVEL DRY TYRES....

i sended it to you, but keep it in mind, that this plugin don't work properly in the same RBR installation with the czech tournament plugin.

Our RBR works good with Czech plugin and rallysimfans plugin in same installation...

It isn´t too much action going on here in the english part of the forum.

But I am a bit interested in finding out if there is any work going on with the plugin. The thin i miss most is damages at this point.

Hopefully, bringing damage from stage to stage will released soon...they working on it.

If you select the car in practice or online mode of the plugin, the plugin will download and install it automaticly. There is no separate download possibitity.

are there differences between Czech plugin ladas 2107 physics and rallysimfans.hu physics?
I dont like czech physics...its too easy to roll over(def settings) and lada doesn`t have handbrake

I have a problem. I,ve put RallySimfans.hu in a own installation.When i try to turn on the game, I recieve an error message. The error message is "RichardBurnsRally_SSE.exe has stopped working" . Is there anyone who knows what causes this, and can help me?
